While Robert “Bobby” Dimattina was an iconic, collar up, left hand bat who played over 150 games for over 2000 runs. Muirs through and through, both were regulars at Stan Reids house after games, John “Gio”, known for wearing his moccy’s to post match celebrations.

  • Dave's Dog Wash

Dave Phillips is a club institution.

A few years ago he lay claim to playing a game with every current player at the club, and he’s probably still not far off that now. That’s what happens when you’ve captained the club’s 4th XI for 11 seasons and counting, captained just the second 4th XI flag in the clubs history, played in the inaugural KUCC Veterans side, filled in for T20’s and served on the committee. Which shows just how much Dave has given to the Muirs over the years.

Dave is the latest life member to be inducted at the club, a fitting tribute after many years of service both on and off the field, and now has the joy of introducing our older juniors into senior cricket over the coming seasons. There’s no one better for the job.

As many know, seeing the trailer parked around the club most nights during training, Dave runs the best dog wash and grooming service in the Eastern Suburbs. So if you really want to spoil your dog this Christmas, get them booked in to see Dave ASAP!

Thanks Dave for jumping on as a sponsor for this summer, and for all your hard work! We are the club we are because of Dave, so make sure you support him and his business to thank Dave for all the work he’s put into our great club.

    Go the Muir!

Now there’s even more reason to visit, as they are a proud sponsor of the club. The Smeg brand has become a household name in Australia for premium cooking and kitchen appliances, and Michael Gedge is the man to call. Make sure you drop in and see Michael to discuss your needs, or give him a call on 0408 999 984.

  • Breaden family

Wow where do we begin!! He might have stepped down from his presidential duties, but Dean and his family continue to give back to the Muirs.

Deano has been a fixture of many sides over the years, with his express heat pace of bowling ‘frightening’ many a batsman. By his side supporting the club has been Katie and the two girls, Emma and Ava who have participated in our Milo program over the years.

Special mention has to go to Emma and Ava’s ongoing involvement with everything KUCC, having also helped out setting up for many events after being dragged along by Dean.

Thanks for your ongoing support of the club, Breadens. We hope you can relax and enjoy a season without committee responsibilities!

  • Casey family

After joining the club when the kids were in Milo cricket, the Casey’s have been great supporters of the club over the years. Trav has contributed greatly to the Dad’s Vets team in their first two years, while Xanthe has been a great supporter off the field at senior and junior events. The club thanks the Casey’s for their continued support on the eve of another big summer

  • Crimmins family

On top of being our new coach for 2017/18, the Crimmins Family have also jumped on board as sponsors for the coming season!

Joel, the left arm pace extraordinaire is supported by his partner Charlotte, we’re wondering if there is much competition during an Olympic Games with Charlotte’s Canadian heritage? There will be more competition there than in the AFL, where Joel’s doggies have been plagued with injuries and we live in hope that they can prevent another Fourthorn debacle.

Along with Joel, there is another famous Crimmins at the club, Alana, who has been a big part of the club with Brandon following her around for a many years! The club has it on good authority that Joel and Pixie are unable to play in the same team together, as the fairness to the rest of the competition would be compromised…

  • Davidson family

A fantastic addition to the club at senior and junior level last season was the Davidson family, and they’ve jumped on as a sponsor in their second season. Stars with bat and ball on the field, and just as important at the club off the field, we thank the Davidson’s for their support in 2017/18 and look forward to a great summer with the whole family.

  • Dooley family

A prominent feature in many aspects of the club, the Dooley’s have ramped up their support of the club this year to become sponsors! With Maxy terrorising batting attacks in the junior ranks, and Dools senior doing likewise in the Vets the family is a force to be reckoned with. Off the field the whole family are great supporters of the social side of the club, and we thank the whole clan for your ongoing support.

  • Holinger family

We’ve all been impressed by the impact the Holinger’s have had on our club, well they’re on board for next season as sponsors!!

A relatively new family to the club, the Holinger’s have made a huge contribution in a short time. From spearheading the new nets project to winning flags in the threes, and now leading the club as new president, Graham and his family have continued their generosity to the club as we head towards a massive 2017/18 season.

Special note also goes to GH’s commitment to the environment and implementing the recycling policy for the club as well!

  • Labbad family

Part of the benefit of our expanded junior program, is getting to know some of the local families such as the Labbad Family.

KUCC thanks the Labbad’s for their support of the club’s sponsorship drive. Whether it’s seniors, juniors, veterans or social functions, the Labbad’s give so much back to the club and we look forward to another big summer both on and off the field with the whole family. We’re looking forward to some George domination on the park too!

  • McCraith family

Scotty Mac has been a big part of the club for a long time. Firstly with Josh coming through the juniors, and then onto Vets premiership teams and helping the fours to finals in recent seasons. Always around at social functions and helping out around the club where he can, Scotty is a true clubman, and we thank him and the whole family for coming on as a sponsor in 2017/18.

  • Price Family

Another family that’s Kerrimuir through and through. Jono is a star in the Dad’s Vets side, both on and off the field, while Amber is one of the rising stars of the under 12s and Matthew just behind in the under 10s.

A great support for all three on the sidelines is Amanda, and the club can’t thank the whole family enough for their support over the years and their generosity in this year’s sponsorship drive.

We look forward to a big season for whole Price family!

  • Reid family

The Reid family is synonymous with Kerrimuir. Look through the record books and you will see it represented in life members, club legends, committee positions, premiership captains, games record, run scorers, wickets…you get the point!

More than all that of course has been the off-field contribution from the Reids to the history of our great club. Many still remember with fondness the day at Stan and Joan’s house after games when they served as the club rooms for many years.

Swoopa has been part of the club longer than most, and still holds the games record (though he may need to come out of retirement to hold off Mary this season). The club wouldn’t be in the position it is today without the Reid’s, and everyone at Kerrimuir owe the whole family a debt of gratitude.

Thanks for your continuing support ahead of season 2016/17!

  • Sencek family

The Sencek’s have been fantastic contributors to many different parts of the club over the years, both on field and off. Whether it’s playing in the juniors, seniors or vets, or supporting all of our social functions, you can’t miss Big Daz and the family as the life of the party. Thanks for coming on board in this year’s sponsorship drive and for your continued support of our great club.

  • Spinks family

Having just joined the Muir family, the Spinks have jumped straight on board as a sponsor as well. Avid cricket fans, this local family well be great to have around the club supporting the Muirs.

The family consists of Dave and Belinda, their daughter Shannon and son Conor (Muirs new recruit).

Burning question is – will Dave be watching Conor steaming in with the new ball or watching his beloved horse storming down the home straight at Caulfield? Watch this space!

    Welcome aboard Spinko’s

  • Watson family

We have seen a lot of KUCC family names coming through this week, but you won’t find a family that contributes to the club with a bigger smile than the Watson Family!

Pixie may be taking a year off, but the growing Watson family continue to be great supporters of the club. A big part of the club for over 20 years, the club is very grateful to the Watson’s for their support of this year’s sponsorship drive.

Barry and Trudy are regulars at every KUCC event and have supported not only Brandon (Pixie) along the way, but the growth of the whole club.

Brandon and Alana have always supported the K and been around for many years, its been very exciting to watch their adventures in parenthood over the last few years!

We are really looking forward to seeing you all on the sidelines or a function this season.

  • The Marulli Family

It’s great to have the Marulli family as one of our sponsors this season. Whether it’s Pat or Jack tearing in with the new ball, Beau cutting a swathe through the junior ranks, Cathy making the magic happen at our social events, it’s hard to imagine a Muirs day or night without them. Apparently if ten people ask our Vice-President, he will whip out the headband again when he bowls just like he did in the semi-finals last year!

  • Murphy family

There’s no doubt the Murphy family have had a big impact on the Muirs. Irah “Murph” Murphy proved the motto “speak softly and carry a big stick” with a dazzling 80 in the first round of seniors this year, complementing his leg spin arsenal. Emerson “Murph” Murphy made an immediate splash with a century in his first game in Muirs colours, and is now one of the young guns in the 2s with bat and ball. Aemon “Murph” Murphy, also known as “Irah’s Dad” or “Emerson’s Dad” not only enjoys his cricket (when he remembers to pack his whites) but also the social side of the club, often being the last to leave most nights!

  • The Taylor Family

The Taylor family have been a fixture around Springfield Park ever since Josh and Ben were key players in the junior sides of recent years. Both JT and BT have graduated to senior ranks, with BT proving a reliable gloveman and JT a handy all-rounder. Parents Brendan and Jo and siblings Molly and Abbey are usually around. They are great supporters of the club both on and off the field!
